Opened: 1912

Daily Temperature data from: 1965

Data used to adjust Acorn sites at:  Walgett, Dubbo, Scone.

Location: Co-ordinates   -32.0165 149.3956

About 270km north-north-west of Sydney.

Close to buildings only a few metres away, behind a high fence, beside a dirt driveway and close to a bitumen road.

This station is not compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations and used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

    That looks like a colorbond heat trap beside the screen which necessitates some ‘adjustment.

    The BOM have an app for that

    Is that a delivery truck in the car park about 5 meters away from the Stevenson screen Ken ?

    Dunnedo is pretty small Ken. Just 750 people according to Wikipedia. But the BOM weather station is located right in the midst of the UHI effect in Dunnedo. And there are lots of alternative better locations close by.
