The site is not level, with the screen close to mounds of dirt and gravel of different colours, a wooden bridge, a “moat” lined with rocks.  Other rocks are scattered around, and there are large areas of bare dirt.  It is across the road from a large cultivation.

This station is non-compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations and used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

Amazing what your work is uncovering thanks.

Yes Ken, even I am amazed by what you are finding at times. This one at Collarenebri being a prime example.

  3. Bill in Oz Says:

Ken I notice that you are gradually working your way up the Darling river catchment… The heart of the dry dusty outback in NSW.
And I also notice that so many of the BOM stations are used to alter the ACORN BOM weather station sites records.

Yes u just used the word ‘Alter”. The BOM prefers homogenise or adjust. But let’s be frank that whole process is discredited and is dishonest.
