Please refer back to my first post for site specifications and to No. 92- Logan City for 2018 specifications.  If you wish to check on this (or any) site for yourself, go to my post on how to check for yourself.

Station: Donnybrook 9534

Opened: 1900

Daily Temperature data from: 1907

Data used to adjust Acorn sites at: Cape Leeuwin, Bridgetown.

Location:   Co-ordinates  -33.5719 115.8247

180km south of Perth.

BOM site plan 2019:

Google satellite image 2019:

Donnybrook has to be up there with the worst stations in Australia- and there are many other suitable sites nearby. It is close to large areas of bitumen parking area, close to a colourbond fence on one side, colourbond fences on 2 other sides, and sheds along most of the south side. Just over the fence is a carpark for the mechanical repairs workshop (or could it be wreckers?). But then, there’s lots of solar panels!

This station is non-compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations and used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

Percentage of all Australian sites not compliant: 26.93%.
