Google satellite image 2019:

Google street view 2014:

Completely closed off on three sides by buildings, a stone wall, 1.8 metre colourbond fences; close to and surrounded by bare dirt and gravel driveways and carpark; too close to very tall trees; and 13 metres from a large generator- this is a dreadful site.

This station is non-compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations and used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

Percentage of all Australian sites not compliant: 29.14%.

Yes ken this one is in the middle of a car park ! Probably for local council staff. When I looked at the street view from your Google Earth link, there were a cars parked under the carports close by.

I notice that I am saying less in my comments Ken. And that reflects a growing impatience with this BOM we Australians fund. You’re up to BOM weather station 211 non compliant ( FAIL ) out of 720 with only a few to go.

And I wonder, surely the BOM knew that this appalling situation existed. Surely they did not need you ( or me ) to come along, almost by accident, and ‘help’ them discover this extended massive stuff up !

No I am coming to the conclusion that the BOM has known about these FAIL stations for a long while. And dishonestly never told us, the the tax paying public about them.

This has been the BOM’s dirt hidden secret !
