More spiderwebs and neglect.

Southern Cross is another neglected station, standing on bare dirt. It is also 12 metres from a bitumen road, and 5 metres from a dirt farm track and extensive wheat field.

This station is non-compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations and used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

FAIL

Percentage of all Australian sites not compliant: 29.83%.

I notice the padlock on the screen. I wonder how much BOM neglect we would see if we could see inside the screen ?

And again we see a BOM weather station surrounded by conditions that make accurate temperature observations impossible.

Ken, somehow when I comment it has defaulted to Bill In Oz. Just picke dit up now when I saw that my prior comment is in moderation.
