Have to give credit to the person who notated ‘Derelict dunny’. How would non-Aussies interpret that little gem?

I wonder how potent the gases were that emanated from a structure that close to the temp gauge? Methane is pretty powerful, apparently, even in small doses.

This is a curious BOM station Ken. It is perched a couple of hundred feet below the summit of Mount Lofty, almost the highest mountain in South Australia and certainly the highest close to Adelaide. It is also not an ACORN station even though there is little UHI effect.

But every day on the ABC weather Mt lofty is cited for it’s temperature observations..It’s maximum and it’s minimum temperatures…

As a result it has a somewhat ICONIC status here in SA.

But the BOM does not look after it.

It’s not compliant with their own guidelines !
