Ken I’ve been wondering if Cape Borda on beautiful Kangaroo Island would turn up as a FAILED BOM station.. And here it is ! And it’s an ACORN station as well.

Cape Borda is remote from any towns. The nearest is Kingscote about 60 Ks away to the east. It is deep in the Flinders Chase National Park.

The ground has been cleared back to bare earth & rock. Now that takes humans working there. And it means that these humans working on BOM’s behalf don’t know the BOM own siting guidelines.

Or that staff in BOM don’t care about their own siting guidelines.
