80km south-west of Adelaide.

The site could be ideal, except it is surrounded by crop land, so the environment can vary from bare soil to lush growing crop to mature dry crop to about 0.4 metres.

This station is non-compliant, with temperatures reported at Latest Weather Observations but not used to adjust data at Acorn sites.

    Ken I sometimes wish we had access to topographic maps around these BOM stations.

    The BOM’s pdf for this station states it is 6 meters above sea level. So not much fall in slope. But the station seems perched on an embankment with a fall to an intermittent creek just to the East.
    Cold air will tend to fall away from the screen bit though not as much as at Cape Willoughby or Kuitpo stations.
