Interesting site Ken. I stayed there once for a week with a friend in a caravan. It was bitter cold at night even in March. Needed the A/C to stay warm ! There were lots of caravans & a few tents as well under the trees along the creek.

So even though this is a remote small site in the Flinders Ranges. it generates a lot of UHI effect.

Not very compliant at all !

Station started in 1938???? I wasn’t aware that it was anything more than a cattle station.
